Rubicón Fishing is a private Lanzarote fishing charter company, which is essentially committed to Sport fishing among other activities.

Our main objective at Rubicon Fishing is to provide an excellent and exclusive service, our goal is to make your day onboard the best one of your holiday. We fish with any technique that you desire and we will give you the best advise about the species that are most active at the time. We have been fishing and sailing the waters of Lanzarote for more than 20 years.

The Rubicón Fishing team and equipment will satisfy the most demanding fisher beyond expectations.
We are sea lovers, we like sunsets, we love watching birds, sharks, dolphins and whales that usually accompany us during our excursions. We want you to be a first hand observer of the natural marvel of the sea surrounding the volcanic island.
Our condition as fishers, scuba divers, free divers and our knowledge of sports like windsurfing, surfing and Kite boarding give us an in depth knowledge of the depths and coasts of Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and its islets.

Location

The boat Aura Marina is moored at Puerto Calero, located on the south-central coast of Lanzarote.

Lanzarote is the most north-easterly island of the Canary Island archipelago, about 70 miles from the African coast and 620 miles from Gibraltar. Puerto Calero is one of the most prestigious marinas in the Canary Islands, renowned for its modern facilities, calm waters and elegant surroundings. Its privileged location also offers quick access to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura and to some of the best fishing and sailing grounds in the region.

Puerto Calero lies just a few minutes from the charming town of Puerto del Carmen, the island’s most vibrant tourist resort, famous for its golden beaches, lively promenade and wide range of restaurants and shops. The marina itself is known as the “millionaire’s harbour”, home to luxury yachts and an exclusive selection of boutiques, bars and international cuisine. The area enjoys Lanzarote’s excellent climate all year round: sunny, mild and sheltered from the prevailing winds.

Thanks to its central position, Puerto Calero is perfectly connected with the rest of the island. The airport is just 15 minutes away, while the capital Arrecife can be reached in about 20 minutes. From here, excursions by boat, diving trips, fishing charters and sailing tours start daily. Taxi ranks and car hire services are available in the marina, and regular bus connections link Puerto Calero with Puerto del Carmen and other tourist areas.

Boat and Material

Our Vessel is a Hatteras 45′ , a great fishing boat. Equipped to practice with absolute safety and comfort sport fishing or family cruises. With 50 foot total length, 15 foot beam and a deep V hull , its the ideal boat for the waters of Lanzarote , Its large cockpit , enclosed flybridge and huge bow deck area make it the perfect option for all types of activities. The “Aura Marina” has two double cabins (1 on-suite) , a large salon that sleeps 4 more persons. It has a full size kitchen and 2 bathrooms with hot water showers.

Saftey: 6 person liferaft , E.P.I.R.B. and all other requirements of the regulations of its category of vessel and navegations.

Engines: Twin Detriot deseils 6V92TA 520Bhp each.
